Mission and Vision

Mission: 

State Street Program is a self-contained Special Education Program with the City of Waterbury Public School System. State Street Program provides educational services for students in Pre-K through 12th grade who have been identified as having social, emotional, mental health, or behavioral needs. The State Street Program, through collaboration with families and the community, prepares diverse learners as a whole to meet the challenges of an ever-changing global society. 

We do this by providing stimulating educational opportunities enriched with technology in a stable, nurturing, and therapeutic environment. Additionally, students are given ample opportunities for positive community involvement. With our strong culture, all students can learn the value of education, develop strong work ethics, and become responsible citizens.
